Cebu City has just released its new means of transportation to help every passenger to travel with convenience and comfortability. For a minimum fare of ₱8.00 for the first five kilometers and an additional ₱1.50 for each succeeding kilometer, it will help the travelers to travel with less worries and to be protected from the tropical weather of the Philippines. The 40 modern bus – jeeps of Cebu are fully air-conditioned and are connected to the internet.  

According to SUN STAR CEBU (local newspaper producer), "The beeps’ primary route, which is from the City Hall to the Cebu I.T. Park, has nine stops. Drop-off and pick-up points will be beside Plaza Sugbo (P. Burgos St.), S. Osmeña Ave. near Pier 1, V. Sotto St., and along Robinsons Galleria Cebu, among other stops.

The beeps’ secondary route starts on Duterte St. in Banawa, Barangay Guadalupe and ends in Sykes in Barangay Mabolo with nine designated loading and unloading areas."

The beep jeepneys of Cebu can carry more or less 34 persons. But it only has 26 seats for passengers. The white beep can carry 32 persons, including the 23 seats for passengers and the driver.

This is one of the best alternatives for people who don’t want to drive in the middle of the traffic. For it is said, that these vehicles will help lessen the traffic problems as well as the pollution of the city.
